Midnight-Chapter 4Chapter 4 There were tears in her eyes as the werewolf pinned her down. She was screaming for help, but none came. She could smell its horrid breath as it went to sink its jaws into her.

The sound of her alarm clock jolted her violently from her nightmare, and she sat upright breathing hard and looking around frantically. Her heart was still pounding as she hit her alarm and got out of bed. She took a quick shower and put on a nice pantsuit and flats, put her hair in a quick bun, and went downstairs to make herself some tea. Midnight-Chapter 3Chapter 3 Blayk woke early that night, just after sunset. As he looked out the window he saw that the sky was still darkening.
I haven’t gotten up this early in ages. And I cut it really close this time, he thought, walking away from the window and changing into a crimson shirt that fit him very nicely if just a little tightly, a pair of black dress pants, and a long black dress coat that grazed his calves at the hem. He felt the back of his hair and mussed it up as best he could.
“Stupid coffin always flattens it,” he muttered to himself. He stretched and headed out onto the main drag towards Kaetvyn’s Midnight-Chapter 3

Midnight-Chapter 2Chapter 2 Kaetvyn woke very late the next day. The sun was just about to set as she stretched and fixed herself some tea, taking it back to her room. She intended to just stay in her pajamas and have a night in the house. After all, there was no point in getting dressed just to get ready for bed a little later. But as she was tying her hair in a loose ponytail, her eye wandered to the dress hanging on her mirror and the heels sitting on the floor next to it. It really was a beautiful dress, and she decided to put it on for a little while, just for fun. Not the heels though, that was enough of a disaster last night. Midnight-Chapter 1Chapter 1 The roads were darker travelling this way, but she didn’t want to be bothered with the busyness of the main streets. Besides, this way was shorter. She liked the quiet and serenity of the back roads, and since it was Friday, everyone would be out on the main drag loudly enjoying the revelry of the weekend night-life. Not something she really wanted to put up with. Drunken catcalling didn’t really appeal to her. She was lost in her thoughts when she heard a rustling in the trees to her left.
